Higher peak power for precise delivery
The eCO2 3D delivers up to 40W of peak power, letting the laser reach deeper into the skin and resulting in sharper, cleaner ablation than earlier eCO2 systems. The beam profile is narrow and tapered, so energy is focused directly downward into the tissue with minimal lateral spread. In practice, this means more effective vertical ablation of the tissue, with less collateral heat in the skin around it.In short, 40W maximises the strengths of an eCO2 laser.3D Controlled Chaos Technology
3D Controlled Chaos Technology is what sets the eCO2 3D apart from conventional CO2 lasers. Rather than firing microbeams in a fixed, sequential grid, it distributes them in a pseudo-random pattern, placing each beam as far as possible from the one before. Overlapping beams are the main cause of collateral heat buildup in fractional CO2 treatment, and that heat causes discomfort, prolonged redness, and longer recovery. By keeping successive beams apart, Controlled Chaos Technology gives the tissue time to dissipate heat between shots. The zones of ablation stay cleanly separated from the surrounding skin, which protects the untreated bridges of tissue that speed healing.Dynamic & Static Mode synergy
The eCO2 3D includes two unique ways to deliver energy. Static Mode uses precise stamping to treat scanned areas up to 18×18 mm with selectable density, delivering energy exactly where a scar needs it without the multiple passes some systems require. Dynamic Mode works more like an airbrush, feathering energy across the surface to blend treated and untreated areas and soften the grid-pattern healing that stamping alone can leave. This cuts treatment time while offering smooth coverage, especially during Eco Tone treatments. Used together, they let you treat targeted scarring and blend the result across the surrounding skin in a single session.Better control over depth and density
Three interchangeable microbeam tips let you set how deep and how densely the laser works. The 120µm tip allows for deep dermis penetration, 1-17% coverage per pass, and rapid healing times. The 300µm tip allows for mid-dermis penetration, 5-58% coverage per pass, and wider, intermediate ablation depth. The 500µm tip allows for epidermal penetration, 20-130% coverage per pass; it’s used to treat superficial dyschromias. Tips are quick and easy to change, and the system recognises each one automatically, so there is no recalibration delay between them, making it easy to provide on-the-fly customised treatments.Combined with a wide power range and char-free pulse options, you get fine control over the depth, density and thermal effect of every treatment.
